Church Leaders

God has provided us with 4 key officers in the Church. We believe that the biblical church government consists of elders and deacons, called to serve the Lord. Christian service is a life-long matter, which can only be sustained by the mercies of God and the regular prayers of the saints. May God help our leaders to persevere in their faithful service to the Lord!

Paul Chong

Paul is the full time Elder & Pastor of Ebenezer Church Singapore since 2003. He and his wife Hyu Har were one of the early members of Shalom Church Singapore, which planted Ebenezer Church. They are currently home-schooling their 4 children. Paul was formally a senior manager at the Housing & Development Board of Singapore before he went into the full time ministry.

Seen Chee Keong

Chee Keong is a deacon of Ebenezer Church. He runs the Church logistics and helps with translation during our Church Worship. He also regularly teaches in Sunday School. He is a technical specialist by profession.

Tan Chin Kah

Chin Kah is a deacon of Ebenezer Church. He is also the Church Secretary. Being effectively bilingual, he regularly serves in translation during our Church worship service and also teaches Sunday School. He is also a teacher by profession.

Ho Lye Sum

Lye Sum is a deacon of Ebenezer Church. He is the Church treasurer and preaches and teaches regularly. He runs a consulting business (specializing in interim mgt, sales coaching & presentation skills), and a speech & drama enrichment school catering to students of all age groups. He is also a senior military officer in the Singapore Armed Forces reserve, holding the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.
